This is a hollow wooden egg 6' 10" x 20 3/4". I used a bit of western red cedar , a bit of huon pine & good ol' paulownia . Glassed it with kinetix epoxy & gave it a poly finish coat & polish. Weight came in at 6.1 kgs. Its got a 12" finbox as well as side plugs.
Hi Mate,
ReplyDeleteThe board looks like it goes great. What Bottom contour did you go with? How are the rails shaped?

Hi Buddha
ReplyDeleteI went with the McCoy dome bottom , which I've used on all my boards ( fish included) & its worked really good. The rails are soft 50/50 rails in the front half - then starting to get lower & harder just before the fins & pretty sharp & crisp thru the tail.
Cheers Craig
Absoletly gorgeous👍👍👍👍👍👍
